About me
I wandered into a demo at an art college open day..
From then I was completely won over by product design. It was a demo of a cardboard chair. This was it for me. No deep need for self expression - just a satisfaction in knowing materials and methods and how I could use them to solve user problems.
I brought my foundation of working in real-world product design with me when I transitioned to web application design. The marrying of these two design disciplines has served me well since then. The attitude that everything is an interface and everyone is a user keeps me grounded in bringing quality solutions to customers and the business.
Getting the product process right is key to achieving results for customers. The more we can try the more we learn. A great process allows for that.
